If you visit one European city this summer, let it be Prague. Following its release from the claws of communism in the late 1980s, the Czech capital has become one of Europe's most visited cities.
And it's not difficult to see why. With its cobbled streets, dark alleyways, ancient squares and churches that have been virtually untouched by war, this atmospheric city's got it all. Add to that an abundance of historic bars and restaurants and you can't want for more.
As for must-see sights, the medieval Prague Castle ranks very high on the list. With its towers and turrets, you can't help but be impressed. Next on the list of architectural wonders is the gothic Charles Bridge that spans the River Vltava.
Go for a wander among the quirky shops in the Old Town, before heading for one of the many beer halls to rest your feet and quench your thirst. In addition to selling what are undisputedly some of the world's best beers, they also have an atmosphere you just won't find anywhere else. Go on, we dare you to see it for yourself this summer.
I WANT TO GO!!! BUY ME A TICKET!!!!
