the date headings are french by the way, n i dont understand i single bit. so... haha
anyways, today was spent wif me and shawn only, as his gf, jacq, was at a wedding dinner.
so for dinner we had jap food, at the one n only shimizu...
first time there without my family, which means i have to pay myself this time. but its great food, so not an issue. this is wat we had:
1. kani karrage (soft shell crab)
2. tenderlion steak
3. ebi tempura
4. kani tofu age, (i think its called, fried tofu with crab meat covered with fish flakes)
n rice
yummy indeed, money well spent.
the desserts looked really nice, designer gelato desserts, but we headed to serene center for desserts instead.
there at serene center, houses the infamous Island Creamery, home made ice cream with local flavours like teh tarik, holicks, pualu hitam (?), even khuala latte, burnt caramel, and of coz, tiger sorbet which is basically tiger beer ice cream...
they also have some cakes, mud pie, baked alaska and stuff. great stuff.
so finally i got to try the tiger sorbet, which really tasted like tiger beer, but wasnt that nice. we had mud pie, which was superb, the best mud pie so far. quick quick wat are u waiting for, go get one urself!!!
