How well do you know Singapore?
I've just found out more a few mins ago, so I shall share with you some of the more interesting facts.
Firstly, there is more females in Singapore. Primarily due to the fact they live longer, by about 5 years, on the average. And 1 child will be born for every woman here. Besides the fact that the girls usually outlive the guys, guys are more prone to dying at birth. Sorry guys. We suck.
10.3 migrants per 1000. 1% thinks that Singapore aint good enough.
4100 people living with HIV/AIDS, and less than 200 has died from it.
There is more Buddhist than the Catholics and Christians combined! Well, mainly due to the fact that there is abt 76.8% chinese people.
We have a per capita GDP equal to the Big 4 western Europeans.
Our power comes from fossil fuel ONLY. I didnt know that one. And we consume abt 32 million kWh. Which since I'm quite bo liao right now, works out to be abt 8888 kW consumed every sec. That has to be alot of air cons.
US is our second biggest export. Thats after Malaysia of course.
3.5 Million mobile lines. Ever since they started giving primary school kids mobiles.
But 2.1 Million internet users.
We have 10 Airports!
