Ever wondered why are hamburgers called hamburgers?
True story:
A french guy with his muslim friend wants to go for lunch, and the french guy decides on McDonalds, and the muslim friend says no he cant eat at McDonalds. French guys was like, why not? They dont serve pork in McDonalds? His muslim friend was like, they have hamburgers. French guy - Blur!? Muslim friend says, I cant eat ham! French guy says, there is NO ham in hamburgers!!! Muslim guy - Then why is it called hamburgers????
A quick search in Wikipedia shows that the origins of the hamburger was from Hamburg, Germany. Although Hamburg, New York also claims credit for the invention of the hamburger.
Hmmm.... Now you know.
