A long time ago, in secondary school, my parents had to speak to my form teacher coz of some trouble I got into. So my parents sat down with my form teacher, who was also my english teacher, to discuss the issue at hand. And my dad said, you are his english teacher??? You cant even pronounce his name right!
My eurasian friend from my secondary school had the same problem, his parents sat down with his teacher and addressed my friend by his family name (Peters). His dad said, you dont even know the difference between my son's name and our family name.
Teachers....
