Yup, been busy la. u know bringing the freshies around, going here going there, unpacking, moving into a new house, cleaning the new house, yes cooking, going to school, almost fell asleep in lectures. that kinda stuff.
a few screw ups since i got here. I flew into manchester airport, and had to take the train up, bought my ticket and my railcard, paid, the guy tells me, 'here's your card and your ticket, and your train leaves in 4 mins' took off, and left my debit card behind. partly my fault, but he forgot to hand me MY card which was BEHIND the desk. idiot.
due to some mistake by the bank, i've got a duplicate card, both operational, i thought i shd bring both along in case something happens to one of them, didnt expect it was so fast.
so, i call the bank, told them wat happened to the card. next day, tried to get cash from the cash machine, and the bloody thing ATE my CARD. so blah blah blah, im getting a new card.
SO, cardless and cashless. BUT i've got a cheque book. BUT since its an offshore account, it takes them 20 mins to verify my signature, typical british efficiency.
but bringing the new guys around has been very fun, been to a couple of places, shopping, sightseeing. going to Castle Alnwick on sat, again. harry potter castle, how fascinating.
started my capoeira lessons too. that fun. and very tiring too. at least i've got some exercise. haha. shd start losing some weight. hmm....
